3.2 First-time Connection

Before connecting to the app for the first time, you need to press and hold the power button of the camera to turn it on. After entering the boot screen, please follow the instructions on the page to activate Ranger.

 

① Turn on the device and follow the instructions on the startup page, as shown in the figure below.

 

② Turn on Bluetooth of your phone.

③ Launch the DDPAI App, enter the "Device" interface, and tap "+ Add a device".

④ Select the current device model (DDP01XXXX) in the Bluetooth list.

 

⑤ Tap the "Authorize" button on the camera screen to activate Ranger.

 

If you fail to search the Bluetooth device, you can tap "Rescan" to search for the Bluetooth device again.

 

If it is not the first connection, after the device is turned on, open the app, enter the "Device" interface, and tap the "Not Connected" button to connect directly back to the device via Bluetooth.

 

● The device can only connect to one phone at a time via Bluetooth.

● When a device has been connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, please turn off the mobile phone's Bluetooth/delete the device on the app/reset the device to allow another mobile phone to connect to the device via Bluetooth.
